aglow Member Agreement

This Agreement applies when you join a Membership offered by a salon or clinic (“Salon”) using the aglow platform (“aglow”, “we”, “us”). By signing up to a Membership or accepting an invitation to one, you agree to the terms below.

1. Our Role

aglow provides the Membership payment and management platform only. Your Salon is solely responsible for delivering the treatments and services included in your Membership. If you have questions about your treatments, bookings, availability, outcomes, or service quality, please contact your Salon directly.

2. Types of Memberships

Salons may offer one or more of the following Membership types:

Treatment plan

Fixed-term Membership (e.g., 6 months) with a defined set of inclusions.
Ends automatically at the end of the term unless set to auto-renew. Early cancellation is only available if your Salon has enabled it, and the specific conditions will be shown to you clearly at the time of joining.

Subscription

Ongoing Membership that renews automatically.
Can be cancelled after the minimum term, subject to any notice period.

Treatment Wallet

You make regular contributions that build a spendable balance at your Salon, redeemed via tap-to-pay.
You can change or stop contributions anytime. The balance must be used at the Salon unless the Salon closes.

All inclusions, pricing, perks, and rules are shown clearly before you join.

3. Payments

When you join a Membership, you will be asked to provide valid payment details. By joining, you authorise aglow and our payment provider to debit your nominated bank account or card for the scheduled payments under your Membership. Payments are usually collected by direct debit or card.

You can update your payment method at any time in your aglow Member Portal. The timing, amounts, and frequency of your payments are clearly shown to you during sign-up before you confirm your Membership.

3.1 Service Fees

Your Salon may choose to absorb or pass on aglow’s service fee. This will be shown during sign-up. If aglow changes its service fees in the future and your Salon passes these fees to you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.

3.2 New Member Fee
A one-time New Member Fee may apply when you first join a Membership, or if you rejoin within 30 days of your previous Membership ending. This fee will be clearly shown to you during sign-up. We may change the amount of the New Member Fee by providing at least 30 days’ notice. Any change will apply only to new or renewing Members after the notice period.

3.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we’ll notify you and retry within 7 days. A failed payment fee may apply (as disclosed when you joined). If payments continue to fail, your Membership and its benefits may be paused until the balance is settled.

We may change the amount of any failed payment fee by providing at least 30 days’ notice. Any change will apply only to future failed payments after the notice period.

4. Cancellations & Changes

Salon permanently closes or cannot provide services

Your Membership ends immediately and no further payments are required. The Salon is responsible for any refunds. aglow will assist in providing records and supporting resolution where possible.

Subscriptions

Can be cancelled anytime after the minimum term, subject to the notice period. Contact support@getaglow.co to cancel.

Treatment Plans

End automatically at the end of the term unless set to auto-renew. Early cancellation depends on Salon policy.

Treatment Wallets

You may change or stop contributions at any time. Any existing balance must be used at that Salon unless the Salon has closed. In that case, you may transfer your balance to another aglow Salon or request a refund (fees may apply).

You may also cancel at any time where required by law.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Keep your payment details up to date.
  • Contact your Salon directly for treatment or service-related questions.
  • Maintain the security of your aglow Member account login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for any instructions made through your Member account.

6. Salon Responsibilities

Your Salon is solely responsible for:

  • Delivering all treatments and services included in your Membership.
  • Pricing, scheduling, bookings, and service quality.
  • Responding to feedback, concerns, or complaints about treatments.

If aglow becomes aware that your Salon has closed or is no longer contactable, we will:

  • Cancel your Membership immediately.
  • Stop all future payments.
  • Provide your payment history and assist you to pursue any refund owed.

7. Refunds & Disputes

aglow does not hold your funds. Membership payments are remitted to the Salon.
For refunds relating to treatment delivery, please contact your Salon directly.
If you believe a payment has been taken in error, contact support@getaglow.co and we will help resolve it.

8. Debt Collection

If payments remain unpaid after reminders and retries, your outstanding balance may be referred to a third-party collection agency.

If this occurs:

  • The remaining balance under your Membership may become due immediately.
  • A recovery fee of up to 25% of the outstanding balance may be added to cover collection costs.

If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please contact us early — we want to help.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.We only share your information with your Salon and payment providers as needed to deliver the Membership.

10. Platform Use & Intellectual Property

The aglow platform and its content are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use it to manage your Membership. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or use the platform for any other purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • aglow is not responsible for the delivery, quality, safety, or outcomes of treatments or services.
  • The platform is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Our role is limited to Membership administration and payment processing.

12. Updates to This Agreement

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice.
Continuing your Membership after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country and region where your Salon is located. Any disputes may be resolved in the courts of that region.

14. Assignment

We may transfer our rights under this Agreement (for example, if aglow is acquired). Your rights under your Membership will not be affected.

15. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the terms will continue to apply.

Credit reporting (for Australian businesses)

We might share information with credit reporting bodies to:

  • Check credit applications
  • Verify your identity (anti-money laundering requirements)
  • Manage credit we've provided
  • Collect overdue payments
  • Report payment defaults (only when necessary)

We work with: Equifax Australia

You have the right to request that Equifax doesn't use your information for pre-screening marketing or if you believe you're a victim of fraud.
